November 2012 – July 2013:Gemini Industries, Reston, VA - CONTRACT ENDED DUE TO SEQUESTRATION- Staff Action Officer assigned to the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO), Counter-IED Operations/Intelligence Integration Center (COIC). October 2010 – July 2011: Headquarters, United States Marine Corps, Training & Education Command (TECOM), I served as Deputy Command Information Officer. Oversee operations in direct support of this initiative to include the TECOM helpdesk for the enterprise wide VMWare solution and SharePoint portal. The helpdesk’s main focus is to provide guidance on defining the organizations content management requirements and assist with site design within the constraints of the environment. Above all provide outstanding customer service and resolve any issues effectively and in a timely manner.

September 2009 – October 2010: Expeditionary Strike Group FIVE, NSA Bahrain – Command, Control, Communications and Computers (C4) Officer. Responsible for leading a staff six trained communications and Information Technology (IT) specialists, reporting directly to a United States Navy Admiral and providing him and his command 24x7 IT support. Maintained up to the minute readiness for any military contingency in the Arabian Gulf area and led efforts to modernize computer and communications equipment and training of all ESG-5 personnel. Maintained strict IA compliance with DODI 8500.2.

October 2008 – August 2009: Headquarters, United States Marine Corps – Action Officer, Manpower Plans and Policy Branch, Quantico, VA. Responsible for achieving the strategic goal of seeking highly qualified minority and female applicants for careers as Marine Corps officers. I led the Marine Corps strategic overview of tracking and guiding young officers to ensure the maximum Human Relations Return on Investment on training young officers. Additionally, I aided the overall communications effort to increase the number of minority and female officers.

As the Lead Business Manager, led the Strategic Business Team (SBT) which is tasked to provide business advice and direct support to the Product Group Director and Program Managers in the development of a unified acquisition approach. In addition, the SBT led the business development and strategic communications aims of Marine Corps Systems Command. I was responsible for the successful execution of program scenarios within the constraints of affordability and return on investment, resulting in the efficient and effective procurement of weapons systems for the Fleet Marine Force.

October 2004 – February 2006: United States Marine Corps – Project Officer, Unit Operations Center, Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Virginia

As the Team Lead for Deployed Support Operations, planned and led two successful deployments to Iraq. Responsible for the successful collaboration, integration, installation, operation and maintenance of over 10 Unit Operation Center (UOC) mobile command and control operations centers currently in use in Iraq. UOC is being utilized at Battalion and Regimental level warfighting organizations engaged in daily active combat operations. I led the mixed Marine Corps – General Dynamics team that is imbedded with combat units throughout the Al Anbar province of Iraq.

March 2004 – October 2004: United States Marine Corps – Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) Site Transition Officer- in – Charge, Headquarters, US Marine Forces Pacific, Camp Smith, Honolulu, Hawaii

Mobilized in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM and the Global War on Terror (GWOT). Assigned as the Officer in Charge for the entire implementation of NMCI at the HQ for all Marine Forces in the Pacific area of responsibility. Successfully led a mixed team of Marine and civilian engineers and contracting personnel, in this massive transition while mitigating the effects on warfighting operations.

July 2003 – March 2004: Alion Science and Technology – Senior Military Analyst

Assigned to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) NETWARS Program Office. NETWARS is the Department of Defense (DoD) standard, Joint Forces collaboration, command and control modeling and simulation tool. I was also on the team responsible for the training, marketing and successful fielding of NETWARS to military commands and civilian DoD clients worldwide.

March 2002 – July 2003: United States Marine Corps – Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) Transition Officer, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Okinawa, Japan.

Mobilized in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM and the Global War on Terror (GWOT). Responsible for the starting and coordinating the successful transition all USMC command, control, communications and computer (C4) systems in the Far East theatre of operations to NMCI. Operational Command and control (C2) planner who prepared and reviewed all classified and unclassified computer network accreditation packages.
