The 4th Annual Sope Creek Book Swap!

Parents, would you like to clean off your child’s bookshelves? Students, would you like to select books that are new to you? If so, then the Book Swap is for you!

Send in no more than 2 gently used hardback or paperback books between November 1st and 5th. Place them in a plastic bag with the form below firmly attached and filled out in its entirety. There will be a collection point outside the cafeteria. Books will not be accepted for credit after November 5th. You will receive one credit per qualifying book to be used in the swap, again no more than 2. The swap will be held in the mornings before school begins:

Monday, Nov 8th – 4th and 5th grades

Tuesday, Nov 9th – 3rd grade

Wednesday, Nov 10th – 2nd grade

Thursday, Nov 11th – 1st grade

Friday, Nov 12th – Kindergarten

At the end of the event, we will donate any books not selected by students to either Brumby or Powers Ferry Elementary Libraries.

Book Swap Guidelines: Your book must be in good condition with no tears, loose or missing pages, no writing, scribbles, or coloring on text or graphics pages, and must have both front and back cover. We will not accept books from kid’s meals. The reading level must be within a year of the grade level of your child. For example, a 3rd grader may submit books of a 2nd - 4th grade reading level. Kindergarteners must submit books appropriate to a Kindergarten or 1st grade level. Please be mindful of your selections, as we will not return books deemed to be in unsuitable swapping condition or reading level.
