“The Crucible” Essay

Writing Prompt:

Examining “The Crucible” by Arthur Miller, choose one of the Seven Deadly Sins demonstrated by a minimum of two characters in the play. You must provide at least three examples of how each character displays your chosen sin.

I. Essay Requirements:

  1. Formal Outline (50 points), DUE Thursday, October 31st:

  4. Must follow MLA template for formal outlines (typed, Times New Roman, 12 point font, 1 inch margins, complete sentences in required areas, etc.)
  5. Complete thesis statement
  6. If you turn in a rough draft of this today, I will give you 10 points of extra credit tomorrow on your typed version!
