1Introduction

i.Preface

After migrating article pages of Kidde Safety Help Centre from Moxie to SharePoint 2013, the web sites content, article pages, and pictures, can now be easily administrated and managed through following simple and straightforward steps.

ii.Purpose

This document contains the information and instructions to guide them with guidelines needed to help them during the administration of the Help Centre article pages. It helps them to easily manage, add, edit, and organize the site’s data and its contents.

The user will need to have the necessary permissions to perform the steps specified in this document

2How to create new article page

Please find below steps to add new article in page:

  1. Go to -> Site :

  1. Go to -> Site Content -> Pages.

  1. Go to Files option in ribbon -> Go to New Document -> Select option Article Page.

  1. Add Title, Description and Page Layout for newly created Page. (See the image below.)

  1. The newly created page will appear in all item list.
  2. Select respective newly created item-> Click on ‘Callout menu’ (3 Dots appearing besides name) -> Click on another ‘Callout menu’ (3 Dots appearing besides SHARE).

  1. Go to-> Edit Properties.

  1. Go to Field Article Category Type. -> Choose category of respective question by selecting dropdown menu. -> Click on Save.
  1. From list of All Items, Click on Newly created Page. Blank Page with Custom Article Page Layout and respective Page Title will appear.
  1. Go to Setting-> Go to Edit Page.
  1. Add the new Page Contents in Page Content area.
  1. Go to Page-> Click on Save to save the changes-> Click on Check it in.
  1. Click on Publish this draft.
  1. You can see the newly created FAQ is added under respective category in page:

3How to see most popular items

There are two methods in which the most frequently viewed pages can be viewed.

  1. Method I -To See Top 10 Frequently asked Questions Go to ->

ii.Method II - To see most popular articles. Go to -> Setting-> Site Contents -> Pages-> LIBRARY

4How to filter search results

Please find below steps to perform Search operation for site:

  1. Go to site:
  2. There is Search box present on top of the page.

Add the keyword or content you want to search in search box.

  1. Press Enter. The default page will redirect to and search results will be displayed on screen.
  2. You can also search the contents in particular article category only.
