• Ms. Gac and the Tioughnioga Riverside Academy 6th – 8th grade chorus for their spirited holiday chorus concert on December 10, 2009. Please see attached.

• Mr. Palmer’s AP Ceramics students and Mr. Manvell’s 8th Grade Art Club for their participation in a pit-firing. Both groups of students made pottery with hand and wheel throwing techniques and then fired a massive bon-fire. Please see attached.
• Dan Roma, Matt Regan and Katelyn McDonald of the High School for being selected for the Sr. High Area All-State Mixed Choir and Candice Gage of the High School for being selected for the Sr. High Area All-State Women’s Choir. Their selection is based on NYSSMA solo ratings, student’s level or participation in NYSSMA solo festivals, and teacher recommendations.

a. Tioughnioga Riverside Academy 2009-2010 Academic Improvement Plan
Mr. Sweeney presented the Tioughnioga Riverside Academy 2009-2010 Academic Improvement Plan. Mr. Sweeney reviewed the literacy collaborative implementation and the TRA structure. Mrs. Chestnut reviewed the Building Leadership Team. The 2009-2010 targeted performances from the Academic Improvement Plan were presented by Mrs. Chestnut. The 2009-2010 activities to accomplish continued academic improvement were reviewed. Ms. Fox discussed the Tioughnioga Riverside Academy Committee’s. Mr. Sweeney closed by presenting miscellaneous information and the challenges moving forward for the TRA. Please see attached supporting documentation.
b. Financial Planning Committee Update
Mrs. Hibbard presented a Financial Planning Committee update. Mrs. Hibbard reviewed information from the community forum and discussed the next step of a community survey. Please see attached.
c. Administrative Internship
Mrs. Hibbard recommended Board approval of Michael Waters as Tioughnioga Riverside Academy Administrative Intern for the spring 2010 semester and District Office Administrative Intern for the fall 2010 semester.
