Preschool Summer Camp Information

Ages

Age 3 (& potty trained) – 6 (rising kindergarteners)

Summer Hours and Dates of Operation

June4, 2018 – August 24, 2018

Camps are five days a week,9:00-12:30 p.m.

We will also have Extended Care options available:

  • Before Care will be from 7:00-9:00
  • Lunch Bunch will be from 12:30-1:30
  • After Care will be from 12:30-6:00
  • Full Day Care will be from 7:00-6:00

Camp Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of $25 percamp session is due at registration. This deposit will be applied to your child’s tuition. The balance of your child’s camp fee is due your first day of camp.

Camp Tuition

Each session of camp is $135. This tuition covers camps (9:00-12:30, M-F), as well as snacks, special visitor fees, and materials fees.

Extended Care Fees

Full Day Care Fee…………………………………..$889 per month

(Fee includes before care, weekly camp fee, and after care fees)

*$100 non-refundable deposit due at time of enrollment. Tuition will be due on the 1stof the month.

Before Care Fees…….………………………..$13 per day or $60 per week

*Payment for fees is due one week prior to the week enrolled.

Lunch Bunch Fees**…………….$13 per day or $60 per week

(Children must bring their own lunch in a bag labeled with their name and date)

After Care Fees**……………….$20 per day or $90 per week

* Payment for fees is due one week prior to the week enrolled

Additional Information:

Ages 3-6 years (Must be potty trained to do summer camps)

Children must bring their own lunch for lunch bunch (no foods that need heating or refrigeration)

Full day enrollment must bring a blanket and pillow for rest time.

***SPACE IS EXTREMELY LIMITED, SO REGISTER EARLY. THERE WILL BE NO PRESCHOOL CAMP DURING THE WEEK OF AUGUST 28th.***

Registration Instructions

For children currently enrolled in CCPA

1.Complete the appropriate Summer Camp Enrollment Form (Preschool or School Age). You do not need to fill out another Child Registration Form. If you have more than one child, please fill one out for each child.

2.All appropriate fees are due at the time of registration.

3.Make check payable to CCPA for the appropriate registration fee and/or weekly deposit(s).

4.Turn in check and enrollment forms to the school office.

5.Remaining fees will be due one week prior to the week enrolled.

6.Children attending any full day summer camp should also complete a Request for Administration of Sunscreen form.

7.Two week notice for withdrawal from any summer camp is expected. If we do not receive a two week notice and your child does not attend a session you enrolled in, you will still be responsible for the full session’s tuition.

For children not currently enrolled in CCPA

  1. Complete the Child Registration Form. If you have more than one child, please fill one out for each child.
  2. Complete the appropriate Summer Camp Enrollment Form (Preschool or School Age). If you have more than one child, please fill one out for each child.
  3. Your child will NOT be able to attend camp until all paperwork is completed and turned in. You will need to bring the following items to the school office by the first day of camp:

2018 CCPA PRESCHOOL CAMP THEMES

June 4-8: GREAT OUTDOORS!

Let’s explore all the fun the outdoors has to offer. We’ll learn all about the animals and insects that surround our area and how to care for our environment.

June 11-15: LET’S GO CAMPING!

Let’s go mix up some trail mix and set up a tent! This week we will explore all the joys of camping!

June 18-22: LITTLE SCIENTISTS

Get ready to get messy!! This week will be filled with experiments designed to foster curiosity and learning through hands on exploration.

June25-29: IT’S A SMALL WORLD

Get your passports ready to take a trip around the world. We will be exploring various parts of the world and their unique cultures, including food, clothes and holidays.

July 2-6: STARS & STRIPES (CLOSED FOR JULY 4TH)

Happy Independence Day! This week is all about celebrating the U.S.A with patriotic games, crafts, music and more. NO CAMP WEDNESDAY, JULY 4TH.

July 9-13: CIRCUS TIME

Let’s all clown around! We’ll have fun creating our very own 3 ring circus. It’ll be a barrel of fun!

July 16-20: VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL WEEK**

July 23-27: TOP CHEF

Does your child love to help cook or bake at home? You’ll be happy to know that we have just the summer activity for your young chef in training. Each day we will make delicious recipes that they will be proud to show off at home!

July 30-August 3: DOWN BY THE BAY (CHESAPEAKE BAY)

We will be exploring our very own Chesapeake Bay! We will learn about the creatures both in the bay and on the shore, as well as how to care for our environment.

August 6-10:BLAST OFF FOR SPACE CAMP

Calling all budding astronauts! Let’s blast off into space while learning about the universe through arts and crafts and games.

August 13-17:BUDDING ARTISTS

We will have fun exploring new art techniques and the artists that used them. Our work will be displayed in a CCPA Museum.

August 20-24: SPORTS & GAMES

We will be exploring different sports and games during this fun week. We will also learn about good sportsmanship!

Program Information

To ensure an understanding and acknowledgement of program information, please review and initialeach item below:

Staff will attempt to notify me whenever my child becomes ill, has behavior issues, or in situations of emergency or inclement weather. I will arrange to have my child picked up within one hour of notification.
If my child or someone in my household comes down with a reportable communicable disease, I will notify staff within 24 hours so they can notify the parents of other students and the local health department when necessary (all names will remain confidential).
An emergency operations plan has been developed to help staff and participants be prepared for situations. This is posted in all classrooms and is updated each fall. A copy of the plan is available upon request.
I will provide my child’s proof of identity (original birth certificate, passport, hospital record of birth), physical, and immunization record by my child’s first day of attendance.
I have reviewed the contents of the Parent Handbook and will comply with all its contents.
I understand that the termination/withdrawal policy of CCPA requires a two week written notice. If proper notice is not provided I will be responsible for the tuition fees.
Tuition is due prior to attendance. I am aware of the specific tuition fees and deadlines for the registered program. Late payments will be assessed fee and could result in the child being unable to attend programs.

REQUEST FOR ADMINISTRATION OF SUNSCREEN

Parents/Legal Guardians and Physicians, Please Read:

  • Courthouse Christian Preschool & Afterschool (CCPA) administers emergency medications only. These are medications deemed necessary by a physician (epi-pen, inhaler, benadryl).
  • If your child is enrolled in our full day program (7:00-6:00) and they are in need of medication other than emergency medications, please see Kenda Morris or Donna Newman, for approval.
  • One form must be completed for each medication. Multiple medications cannot be listed on one form.
  • Any change in prescription requires a new written order from the prescribing physician.
  • Students are NOTallowed to transport medication to or from school, nor may it be kept with the student
  • Courthouse Christian Preschool & Afterschool (CCPA) does NOTallow students to possess lotions, lip balms, hand cleaners, sanitizers, or other over the counter medications.
  • Parent/Legal Guardian must supply package insert for complete list of possible side effects.
  • All Request for Administration Forms must be redone every 12 months.

Before Care

Our before care program will be open to all students three (must be potty trained) and older. Before camp hours are 7:00-9:00. Our before school care is limited to 15 children per day.

Before Care Fees are as follows:

Drop In$13 per day

Per week $60 per week

Lunch Bunch

Lunch Bunch will be open to all students ages three (must be potty trained) and older.

Our lunch bunch programis limited to 15 children per day. Those enrolled in after care will have priority for these spaces. Lunch Bunch hours will be from 12:30-1:30. You will be expected to pick up your child right at 1:00 unless they are enrolled in after care for that day. Lunch Bunchers must bring a nutritional lunch, with a drink, in a bag labeled with their name and the date, as required by Social Services.

After Care

Our after care program will be open to all students three (must be potty trained) and older. After camp is from 12:30-6:00 and includes lunch bunch time. Our after care program is limited to 12 children per day.

All children enrolled in the after care program will be required to participate in rest time. The Department of Social Services requires students 5 and under to have a 2 hour rest period each day. For rest time your child will need a twin size sheet, blanket, and pillow with a pillow case. They will be required to lay down for at least 30 minutes and if they are not asleep after 30 minutes they may participate in quiet activities (puzzles, reading, etc.) until rest time is over.

After Care Fees are as follows:
