ARE YOU READY FOR A CAREER? By 2018 there will be 46.8 Million job openings!

Are you ready to be a strong college applicant? Take challenging courses like AP, get involved in school clubs and organizations and build strong study and reading habits.

ARE YOU READY FOR A HIGHER PAYING JOB? Taking CTE courses in high school increases wages and earnings and lead to work in higher quality jobs. Search for careers in Naviance!

Are you ready for the SAT? All HISD High School students have the opportunity to prepare for the SAT at no cost! Juniors: You will take the SAT on Wednesday February 27, 2013. Start studying for it now through the Official SAT Online Course! Ask your Counselor!

ARE YOU READY TO EARN MORE MONEY? A person with a CTErelated associates degree or credential will earn $15,000 more a year than a person with only a high school diploma.

ARE YOU READY FOR YOUR COLLEGE VISIT? Visiting a university campus before you apply is the best way to know if that university is a good fit for you.

ARE YOU READY TO GRADUATE? Students that take CTE will graduate with a higher rate than those that don’t take CTE.

Are you ready for what the PSAT offers? Scoring well on the PSAT means you can qualify for prestigious scholarships and start being recruited by universities early. Get ready for the PSAT/NMSQT through Naviance PrepMe program.
