Position Overview:

This part-time contracted clinician will be part of the Greensboro HEALS program. Greensboro HEALS provides evidence-based mental health and substance abuse services (co-occurring treatment) primarily to adults without insurance or access to care.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Provide direct clinical services, including assessments, individual therapy, group therapy (as needed) to uninsured adults with co-occurring disorders.
  2. Work with the Clinical Team Leader to coordinate care and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
  3. Attend weekly project team meetings and events as scheduled
  4. Work as part of an interdisciplinary team, yet also working independently with caseload
  5. Be dependable and accountable
  6. Maintain confidentiality of records and comply with all policies and procedures related to client care
  7. Other duties as assigned

Supervisory: This position is supervised by the Clinical Team Leader

Personal Qualities: Experience working with co-occurring disorders, training (or willingness to be trained) in evidence-based practices, ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, experience working with diverse populations.

Position Structure: Part-time, contractual position, 3-5 hours per week

Travel: Local travel for project team meetings (reimbursed if outside of Greensboro)

Salary: Salary commensurate upon experience.

Qualifications:Fully licensed clinician in the state of North Carolina (LCAS certification preferred) with experience working with the uninsured population a plus as well as experience with assessment and treatment of co-occurring disorders
