Position Overview:
This part-time contracted clinician will be part of the Greensboro HEALS program. Greensboro HEALS provides evidence-based mental health and substance abuse services (co-occurring treatment) primarily to adults without insurance or access to care.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical services, including assessments, individual therapy, group therapy (as needed) to uninsured adults with co-occurring disorders.
- Work with the Clinical Team Leader to coordinate care and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
- Attend weekly project team meetings and events as scheduled
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team, yet also working independently with caseload
- Be dependable and accountable
- Maintain confidentiality of records and comply with all policies and procedures related to client care
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory: This position is supervised by the Clinical Team Leader
Personal Qualities: Experience working with co-occurring disorders, training (or willingness to be trained) in evidence-based practices, ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, experience working with diverse populations.
Position Structure: Part-time, contractual position, 3-5 hours per week
Travel: Local travel for project team meetings (reimbursed if outside of Greensboro)
Salary: Salary commensurate upon experience.
Qualifications:Fully licensed clinician in the state of North Carolina (LCAS certification preferred) with experience working with the uninsured population a plus as well as experience with assessment and treatment of co-occurring disorders
