Old Delhi Railway Police have sought public help in identifying the following bodies:-

1.  A male age around 45/46 years, height 5’5”, sallow complexion, round face, wearing blue shirt and grey pant found on 18-10-2010.

2.  A male age around 40/45 years, height 5’6”, sallow complexion, round face, wearing grey pant only found on 18-10-2010.

3.  A male age around 30/35years, height 5’7”, wheatish complexion, and long face, normal built wearing white shirt and grey pant found on 18-10-2010.

4.  A female age around 55/60 years, height 5’3”, black complexion, long face, wearing white kurti and white petticoat found on 19-10-2010.

5.  A male age around 21 years, height 170 Cms, fair complexion, round face, wearing green shirt and black trouser found on 19-10-2010.

6.  A male age around 12 years, height 4’, sallow complexion, long face, wearing black jacket and white pant 20-10-2010.

The Delhi Police today organized Commemoration Day Parade in the memory of Police personnel who were killed in serving their respective forces between 1st Sept-2009 to 31st Aug- 2010. The Parade was held at New Police Lines Ground, Kingsway Camp.

Sh.Neeraj Kumar,Special CP(Administration), Delhi read out state-wise and Central Police Organizations list of personnel who were killed or met with unnatural death during the period. In all, 797 police personnel including 9 of Delhi Police were killed while serving their respective forces.

Shri K.K. Paul, Member UPSC, Shri M.V. Krishna Rao, DGP, SSB, retired Commissioners of Police, Delhi, Shri Subash Tondan, Shri M.B. Kaushal, Shri T.R. Kakkar, Shri Ajai Raj Sharma, senior officers of Delhi Police and CPOs placed wreath at the memorial. A two minutes silence was observed in the memory of Police personnel.

The Commemoration Day is observed every year on 21st October in the memory of 10 personnel of CRPF, who were ambushed and killed by Chinese force in Laddakh region on 21 Oct. 1959.

GANG OF AUTOLIFTERS BUSTED AND SHOOTER OF ABU SALEM GANG ARRESTED

With the arrest of (1) Mohd. Zameer @ Ajij, aged 29 years, s/o Late Adil r/o Kashmiri Building, Ch. Matin Ahmad (MLA) Wali Gali, Seelampur Delhi, (2)Mohd. Wasim, aged 30 years, s/o Mohd. Shakil r/o H.No. A-1/1C, DDA Flats, Inderlok, Delhi and (3)Jamshed @ Pappu, aged 28 years, s/o Abdul Wahid r/o B-6/47, DDA Flats, Inderlok, the AATS of North District has busted a gang of notorious auto lifters. 6 stolen cars have been recovered and more than a dozen auto theft cases have been worked out.

INFORMATION AND TEAM

A secret information was received that one person in a stolen Santro Car would pass from Roshan Ara Bagh. On receipt this information, a team consisting of SI Attar Singh, ASI Om Prakash, ASI Ranbir Singh , HC Brahm Dev. Ct Vivek Kumar, Ct. Pradeep and Ct. Surender Singh under the leadership of Sh. Yudhvinder Singh Mann Insp./A.A.T.S under the overall supervision of Sh R.K. Singh, ACP/Operations/North District was constituted.

Acting upon the secret information, a trap was laid at road between FCI Godown and MCD Primary School, Shakti Nagar, Delhi.in the area of Police Station Roop nagar. A Santro car bearing registration number DL-7CA-3240, white colour was coming from Roshan Ara Bagh side which was being driven by Mohd. Zameer @ Ajij. This car was intercepted and the driver was interrogated who during sustained interrogation revealed that the car had been stolen from the area of P.S. Mianwali around 3-4 days back. A case vide FIR No. 246/10 dated 15/10/2010 u/s 379 IPC was found registered at P.S. Mianwali. The genuine number of this car was found to be DL-4C-AG-8531. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No. 174/10 dated 19/10/2010 u/s 468/471/411/120 B/34 IPC was registered at P.S. Roop Nagar, Delhi and investigation was take up.

INTERROGATION

During interrogation, it is revealed that accused Mohd. Zameer @ Ajij is a notorious shooter of Abbu Salem gang. On the directions of Abbu Salem he along with co-accused Rashid fired at the office of Diler Mehndi, the famous singer at Lado Sarai, Delhi in 1998/99. He had also fired at Anil Kundan Thandani, husband of famous actress Ravina Tandon at Bandra Mumbai on the directions of Abu Salem. He has remained in jail in these cases. He also disclosed of his involvements of about 30 cases of car theft from different parts of Delhi. He disclosed involvements of his two associates in committing motor vehicle thefts. His police custody remand was obtained and further investigation was taken up. On his disclosure, his two other associates namely Mohd. Wasim and Jamshed @ Pappu were arrested from Inderlok Metro Station and one stolen car was recovered from each of them. Six stolen vehicles have been recovered from them so far. Further investigations are in progress to arrest their other accomplices and to recover more stolen vehicles.

He has three brothers and 2 sisters. He has remained in jail in various cases of Mumbai and Bihar. He has also been arrested in FIR No. 682/06 u/s 379/468/471/411 P.S. Keshav Puram alongwith co-accused Mohd. Wasim.

2.  Mohd. Wasim, aged 30 years, s/o Mohd. Shakil r/o H.No. A-1/1C, DDA Flats, Inderlok, Delhi. He is a married person and is having three children. He has five brothers and three sisters. He helps his father in their welding shop. He has also been arrested in FIR No. 682/06 u/s 379/468/471/411 P.S. Keshav Puram alongwith co-accused Mohd. Zameer.

3.  Jamshed @ Pappu, aged 28 years, s/o Abdul Wahid r/o B-6/47, DDA Flats, Indelok, Delhi. He is an unmarried person and has one child. He has four brothers and one sister. He is working as a salesman in a mobile shop at Rohini.

SENSATIONAL BRUTAL MURDER OF SCRAP DEALER SOLVED WITHIN 48 HOURS, CALLGIRL ALONG WITH HUSBAND AND ASSOCIATE ARRESTED

Special Staff of East District along with the police of PS Mandawali has arrested three criminals involved in sensational murder cum robbery of a scrap dealer committed at D Park, Pandav Nagar and recovered looted articles. The names of the arrested persons are:-

1.  Sheetal @ Ganga w/o Ravi Prakash r/o U-58, Upadhyay Block, Shakarpur, Delhi.

2.  Ravi s/o Late Jagdish Prasad r/o U-58, Upadhyay Block, Shakarpur, Delhi.

3.  Ajay Kumar s/o Late Jagdish Prasad r/o U-58, Upadhyay Block, Shakarpur, Delhi.

INCIDENT

On 19.10.10, an information was received in PS Mandawali reg. a dead body in Swift Car opp. D-40, Pandav Nagar. The local police found the dead body of a businessman of South Delhi namely Ramnath Singla aged 51 years in Swift Car No. DL-3C-AG-7897. The body was a highly decomposed. Case FIR No. 526/10 u/s 302/201 IPC PS Mandawali, Delhi was registered in this regard.

INVESTIGATION AND ARREST

Taking into account the gravity of the case, the Special Staff of East Distt. along with the police of PS Mandawali was assigned the task to nab the culprits. A team under the leadership of Insp. Rohitas Kumar I/C Spl. Staff East comprising of SI Vinay Yadav, SI Satendra Khari, ASI Satpal, HC Dharmender, HC Praveen,HC Swadesh, HC Umesh, HC Sirmohar ,HC Manoj Kumar, Ct. Jagsoran, Ct Roop Singh, Ct. Haider, Ct. Ravinder, Ct. Lokender, Ct Yashpal Rana ,Ct. Sudhir, Ct. Praveen, Ct. Shatrughan, W/Ct. Poonam and team of Insp. Ramphal Insp. Inv. PS Mandawali under the close supervision Sh. D.L Negi ACP/Operations and Jagdish Malik, ACP/Madhu Vihar was constituted and investigation was taken up. The team worked relentlessly for 24 hours. The focus was shifted to the personal life of the deceased and his contacts in Shakarpur area as his last call was from the area of Shakarpur on 17.10.10. Analysis of his mobile call record and from local enquiry it came to notice that one lady Sheetal was known to him. Efforts were made to locate Sheetal and ultimately on 21.10.10, on a specific input received by Special Staff, Sheetal along with her husband Ravi and brother-in-law Ajay was apprehended. Sheetal, Ravi and Ajay disclosed their involvement in the brutal murder and robbery and were arrested in case FIR No. 526/10 u/s 302/392/411/201/34 IPC, PS Mandawali, Delhi. The looted jewellery articles i.e. three gold rings, one bracelet, Rs. 2,04,000/- and two mobile phones of the deceased have been recovered from them.

INTERROGATION

On sustained interrogation Sheetal disclosed that she is known to deceased for last 2-3 years. On 17.10.10, she called Ramnath, the deceased, who agreed to meet her. He came at around 5 PM and met her. She took him along to her rented house U-58, Upadhyay Block, Shakarpur. She served him liquor and food. During this, Ajay noticed that the deceased was wearing heavy jewellery items and carrying cash. After this, Sheetal, Ravi and Ajay hatched a plan to kill the businessman for the jewellery and the money and subsequently they killed him around 7 PM. The worn jewellery items and cash were taken by them. Then the dead body was wrapped with bed sheets and shifted in the midnight by them in the deceased’s swift car and it was left abandoned in Pandav Nagar.Delhi .

PROFILE:

1.  Sheetal @ Ganga w/o Ravi Prakash r/o U-58, Upadhyay Block, Shakarpur, Delhi, Aged 25 years, Twelfth Pass, Married.

2.  Ravi s/o Late Jagdish Prasad r/o U-58, Upadhyay Block, Shakarpur, Delhi, Aged 26 years, B.A. from Delhi University, Married. Previously involved in a similar case FIR No. 278/10 u/s 328/379 IPC PS Anand Vihar, Delhi in which he robbed a Doctor namely Sh. Jitender Nalwa with similar modus operandi but luckily the victim survived. He looted Honda Civic Car, jewellery and Laptop of Sh. Jitender Nalwa.

3.  Ajay Kumar s/o Late Jagdish Prasad r/o U-58, Upadhyay Block, Shakarpur, Delhi, Aged 36 years, married. He is previously involved in Case FIR No. 382/04 u/s 302 IPC PS Kalyan Puri. In this case he killed a ldy Sheela in rivalry.

ONE PERSON HIDING IN DELHI IN THE GARB OF TEMPO DRIVER IS ARRESTED FOR HIS INVOLVEMENT IN MURDER AND ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASES.

With the arrest of one person namely Shaukat, aged 28 years resident of Azad Pur Mandi, Delhi and permanent resident of Village and town Juruhera, Bharatpur, Rajasthan, the South District police has been able to nab a person wanted in cases of sensational murder and attempt to murder in his native village and putting up in Azad Pur Mandi in the garb of Tempo driver.

TEAM AND ARREST:

On the intervening night of 19/20.10.10 a team of police station Lodhi Colony consisting of S.I. Paramjeet, ASI Anand Prakash, HCs Suresh, Randhawa, Sachin, Tara Chand, Satender, and consts. Asgar Ali and Kaushlendra while carrying out checking in the Khanna Market area for suspected stolen vehicles by laying barricades, the above named persons got down from a tempo and tried to hide himself. The tempo also turned in the different direction and disappeared. The members of police team carrying out checking ran after the suspected person and searched him properly. A knife was recovered from his possession and thus a case of Arms Act vide FIR No. 153 dated 20.10.10 was registered at P.S. Lodhi colony.

INTERROGATION:

On sustained interrogation the arrested accused has disclosed that in the month of January this year he had a fight with his arch rival in the village and threw him in the well of village after putting him on fire. A case of Attempt to murder was registered at P.S. Jurehera vide FIR No. 21/10. He escaped his arrest. Later, on 15.4.10 he in association of his accomplice molested a village girl. The girl complained the matter to her family members. When the members of the girl family reached to him for seeking his explanation, a riot broke out and he killed the grand father of the girl in the day light. The case of murder and riot was registered at P.S.Jurehera vide FIR No. 86/10. A few of his accomplice were arrested by the local police but he managed his escape and reached to Delhi and started living with his maternal uncle’s son in Azad Pur Mandi. He also started driving truck in Azad Pur Mandi with his cousin and evaded the clutches of law for the last many months.

The concerned police station has been informed regarding his arrest. He has been sent to judicial custody.

Whereas a large number of commercial places/shops have come up in Delhi which are popularly known as Cyber Cafes and a large number of people visit them to use the facilities available in such places including e-mail facility.

2.  And whereas it has come to notice that certain criminal anti-social elements/terrorists are using these facilities to mislead the security/investigating agencies, create panic in the public, endanger the security of VVIPs and Govt. Institutions, help in the terrorist activities directly affecting the security of the State.

3.  And whereas it is necessary to take speedy measures in this behalf to prevent danger to human life or safety, to thwart/prevent terrorist activities, which may affect the security of the State and disturbance of public order and tranquillity.

4.  Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by Section 144 Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi’s Notification No. U-11036/1/2008 UTL dated 26.11.2008, I, H.G.S.
