Bridge Phase Enhancements

1. Search Engines

· Under Admin Options add two boxes:

Weight to HTInc search engine results;

Weight to Purdue Search Engine Results:

The super admin should have the ability to adjust these weights. INDURE should then calculate the weighted score prior to displaying the results. Note that the weights should be between 0 and 1 (inclusive). Default value of both weights is 0.5. Note that the sum of the weights must be exactly 1.

· Turn ON the HTInc search engine with the weights being used correctly.

2. Errors

· Profile Last Updated does not always work.

· University filter does not work when adding faculty.

3. Available Technologies

· Technology Transfer Sites:

· Data internalization

Obtain all Available Technologies data from BSU, IU, ND, and Purdue. This should be available to the search engines. Data updated once every week. Faculty names that cannot be matched or lead to ambiguous matches made available to the project leader.

Lead inventor: Last name and first name

Technology description: Text

Technology Manager and contact

· Search features:

[filtered by University, Department]

By faculty name:

4. Sponsored Programs

· Data internalization

Obtain all sponsored program data from BSU, IU, ND, and Purdue. This should be available to the search engines. This data should be updated every 6 hours.

· Data items: As for Purdue in the current version of INDURE.

· Search features:

[filtered by University, department]

By keyword: filtered by University, department

By faculty name:

By sponsor

By amount

5. Miscellaneous Features

· Make university, department, and research filters work on the Manage Faculty Assignments page for super user and university admin.
