A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Mary Robertson Ledford.

WHEREAS, since 1946, Mary Robertson Ledford had been one of God's humble servants at Roaring Springs Christian Church. She was also a past member of the Wallonia Homemakers Club; and

WHEREAS, Mary Robertson Ledford was preceded in death by her father, Sam Robertson; her mother, Willie Robertson; her husband, Richard A. "Dick" Ledford; her brothers, Carl Robertson and Melvin Robertson; and two children in infancy. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Annie) Ledford, Carl Lee (Brenda) Ledford, James Ray (Gay) Ledford, Tom (Suzanne) Ledford, and Steve (Sherry) Ledford; her daughters, Terry (Dean) Duncan and Assistant Chief Clerk of the Kentucky Senate Mary Ann (Dennis) Krol; her grandchildren, Kimberly Carbera, Jodie Hale, Kelli Hooks, Jarrod Ledford, Carla Choate, Scott Duncan, James Duncan, former Kentucky House employee Mary Margaret Krol, Denise Ouimet, Bradley Ledford, Angie Humphries, Matt Ledford, Mark Ledford, Shane Autry, Shellie Tidwell, Jodi Fox, Kyle Schneider, Kayla Schneider, Nicholas Schneider, MaKayla Lea, and Rebecca Lee; and 23 great-grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, on March 20, 2011, at her home in Cadiz, Kentucky, Mary Robertson Ledford passed into her Lord's presence, and an entire community joins her family and friends in mourning her loss;

NOW, THEREFORE,

Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

âSection 1. The Senate does hereby express its most profound sense of sorrow and proffers its sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Mary Robertson Ledford.

âSection 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving memory of Mary Robertson Ledford.

âSection 3. The Clerk of the Senate shall deliver this Resolution to Mary Ann Krol and the loving family of Mary Robertson Ledford.
