Applications must be received by Friday, April 17, 2015

to receive an assigned spot for the season.

Vendors can sell only produce grown, products created or services rendered by the vendors. Re-selling is strictly prohibited! No product at the Downtown Evansville Farmers’ Market can be purchased at an auction, from a wholesaler, or from a retailer. Any Vendor who is found to be buying and re-selling goods from the afore mentioned will be in violation of this Agreement, and will be barred from the Market permanently.

License, Permit and Permission Information

Provide copies of licenses and permits issued by regulatory agencies, as required.

  • Egg Vendor License
  • Seasonal Food Vendor Permit and/or Temporary Food Vending Permit from the Vanderburgh County Health Department.

Liability Insurance:

All market vendors for the Downtown Evansville Farmers ‘ Market will be required to provide proof of liability insurance coverage in the amount of 500,000 , artisans and non food items, or 1,000,000, producers and food vendors. A certificate of coverage will be required and attached to the 2015 Downtown Evansville Farmers’ Market Contract.

Market Fees:

The Producer/Vendor (undersigned) agrees to Annual market fee of $25.00 per farmer/vendors/Artisan (value added vendors) plus a $10.00 per Market day fee, with certificate of liability. All vendors’ spaces are to be assigned by the Market Manager or the Board. Assigned spaces are subject to change should the Producer/Vendor not set up at the assigned time or leave before closing time of the Market.

At the discretion of the Board or the Market Manager, Day Vendors may be excluded from liability insurance requirements up to (but no more than) three market dates.

This Agreement is effective upon approval by the Market Manager and a representative from the VanderburghCounty Farm Bureau Farmers Market Board. Notification of approval or denial to sell will be issued to all approved vendors and declined applicants. Once approved, vendor/farmer will be required to sign a VanderburghCounty Farm Bureau Farmers Market Contract. All information submitted in regards to vendor application is private and solely for the purpose of qualifying a vendor for participation in the 2015 Vanderburgh County Farm Bureau Farmers’ Market.
