Enrollment instructions Student Blackboard Tutorial Class

Follow these instructions to self-enroll in the BB_Nursing_Student_Intro_2015course in Blackboard. If you have any problems or questions contact Laird Cole at the above phone number or email. You can also go in person to the La Roche Student Help Desk in Room 111 Palumbo Science Center.

Step One – Log into Blackboard ( )using the user name you received in the mail from the IT department. You will you the password you created according to the documentation that came with that letter. If you did not receive this, contact the La Roche Student Help Desk.

Step Two- In the upper right corner of the webpage look for a link labeled “Courses”. This is below “logout” Open the link “Courses” by clicking on it.

Step Three- Once the course screen opens up select and click “Browse Course Catalog” on the right side of the screen.

Step Four- In the space shown with the arrow type “BB_Nursing_Student_Intro_2015” then click the “Go” button. The example below does not have the exact name of your course.

Step Five- Hover your mouse over the class “BB_Nursing_Student_Intro_2015” and the color will change and a circle with a down arrow will appear. Click on this to open a drop down menu.

Step Six- That drop down menu will show “Enroll” click on that button to be taken to the last step in enrolling in this class.

Step Seven- You will then be taken to a screen to confirm your enrollment. Click on either of the “Submit” buttons to confirm your enrollment.

Step Eight- You should then see a screen that confirms you successfully enrolled in this class.

Step Nine- You can then click on the “Courses” button as shown in step two and be taken to a page that lists all of the courses you are enrolled in. Click on the “BB_Nursing_Student_Intro_2015” class for it to open and you will go to the introduction page.

Step Ten-Follow the instructions for taking this course on learning to use Blackboard.
