FOBISIA SHORT STORY Competition 2014 hosted by Bangkok Patana School

A big thank you to all those schools that entered the 2014 FOBISIA short story writing competition. We were delighted to receive 27 entries for Primary and 26 entries for Secondary so the panel of judges had a very difficult decision in choosing the finalists in each division. We were extremely pleased with the detail and time Linda Newbery put into responding individually to all of the children’s work, as per the attachment. She mentions the quality of all the writing, with special acknowledgment to the Secondary entries which she felt were all worthy of taking first place.

We will be in touch shortly with the individual winning schools and runner ups to let them know about the trophies which will be posted out in the next couple of weeks.

We also hope to assemble the 6 winning stories into an electronic booklet that can be shared with all the schools via the FOBISIA website and will send this link at a later date.

Thank you once again for supporting this event and if you have any feedback about the competition please feel free to send it to Tania, at the below address, as this will help support whichever school hosts it next year.
