Community Can Pick Their Favourite Videos Alongside Expert Judges

Complete List of Judges Released, Now Including Mike Figgis,Peter Greenaway, Casey Neistat andAlana Blanchard

LONDON, 17 April2012 –Vimeo®, an operating business of IAC [NASDAQ: IACI], today announcedpublic voting for the 2012 Vimeo Festival + Awards, the company’s global celebration of creativity and quality in online video. By voting onlinealongside expert judges,anyone can choose their favourite videos and make their voice heard. Vimeo also released the complete list of Awards judges and the programme of events taking place in New York this summer.

This year,the Vimeo Awards receivednearly 15,000 entries from 147 countries, whichis more than double the entries of the inaugural 2010 Awards. Vimeo received 4,775 entries from 42 European countries[1] (nearly a third of global entries) with high concentrations of work coming from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, and Sweden. The judging panel for each categoryis composed of industry experts and the category winner from the 2010 Awards, with special consideration given to the community vote. New judges announced today include professional surfer Alana Blanchardin the Action Sports category, acclaimed directors/producers Mike Figgisand Peter Greenawayin Experimental and filmmaker Casey Neistat in the Narrative category. Anyone can create a Vimeo account and vote for their favourite videosat closes on 30 April 2012.

The Vimeo Festival +Awards will take place from 7-9 June, 2012, in New York City. Film and video luminaries such as Kyle Cooper, Ted Hope, andPhilip Bloom will gather to address critical themes such as storytelling, creativity, building an audience, and fundraising. Vimeo will host conversations with industry leaders; educational workshops for beginners, enthusiasts, and professionals; and a wide range of video screenings, whichincludethis year’s winning videos and the premiereofLimbo, a new film by 2010 Grand Prize Winner Eliot Rausch, made using grant money from his award.

The event will kick off with the Vimeo Awards ceremony, held on 7 June in New York City,where Vimeo will recognise the best videos online by revealing the 2012 winners. The show will combine innovative projection, staging, sound, and sensory-reactive technologies with live performances and special surprises.
