on quality, food safety, occupational safety, industrial safety, environmental protection and energy management

LLC firm "Astarta-Kyiv" is vertically integrated agro-industrial company that produces safe, high-quality agricultural products and sugar using the best farming traditions and modern technology of unique black soil of Ukraine.

Company`s policy priority is to provide high quality and safety in food products, satisfaction of consumers, environmental and industrial safety, occupational safety and health, protection of environment, energy efficiency and energy saving in production, social responsibility, strengthening the Company's image as a leader and reliable partner in the market.

The main purpose of the Company is to achieve maximum success by providing products with world-class quality through implementing the best available techniques and technologies and work of highly qualified staff.

We set the following activities in field of corporate integrated management system:

  • provide a new definition of measurable goals and objectives to create high-quality products and safe food chain, taking into account character and scale of environmental impacts and risks in field of labor and industrial safety and appropriate scale of production and energy-efficient consumption of resources;
  • comply with legal, regulatory and other requirements on quality, food and feed products safety, industrial and fire safety, environmental protection, identified environmental aspects, energy efficiency and resource conservation;
  • improve the effectiveness of corporate integrated management system by:

reduce environmental impact and prevent pollution, prevent injuries and deterioration of workers` health;

complex solution of problems in labor protection based on approved programs, taking into account environmental and social directions of the Company;

application of advanced achievements in science and technology to ensure and improve environmental safety and energy efficiency, relevant to best practices of leading world-wide companies;

ensure identification, evaluation and control of dangerous factors that could affect food safety;

conduct permanently work on improving safe operation of power equipment, purchase energy-efficient products, services and development of energy efficiency projects.

  • provide monitoring processes, risk assessment and timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions aimed at continuous improvement of the quality, food safety, occupational safety, industrial safety, environmental protection and energy management;
  • regularly optimize allocation of human, material, energy and financial resources;
  • enhance the competence and awareness of staff at all levels. Bring to the attention of staff and all persons working under its control or on its behalf and explain at all levels their personal responsibilities in field of quality, safety, food and feed product safety, industrial safety, environmental protection and energy management;
  • implement informing and support of internal and external communications, including active dialogue with stakeholders, public and population on quality and food safety, environmental, industrial safety and energy efficiency.

Management of the Company agrees to perform policy on quality, food safety, occupational safety, industrial safety, environmental protection and energy management and encourages each employee and people working on behalf of the Company actively participate in its further development.
