Job Title:Administrator

Salary: £19,095 - £20,667

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract: The post is funded until 30 June 2016. We are currently awaiting confirmation of future funding.

Responsible to: EDDACS Team Leader

Context of Job: To provide administrative support to the EDDACS service within Edinburgh Women’s Aid.

Purpose of Job: To carry out administrative tasks for the EDDACS service.

This role is subject to police check disclosures

Main Duties:

•Collate all monitoring and evaluation information for EDDACS service.

•Provide all administrative support for meetings.

•To support the development of the EDDACS service.

•To play an active part in the setting up and running of the EDDACS website.

•To support the smooth running of the remote Court office with regards to IT, with the support of our IT service providers.

•To arrange the printing of any stationery or publications required by the EDDACS team i.e. headed paper, business cards.

•Support colleagues and partner agencies.

•Comply with data protection legislation, confidentiality and information sharing policy and procedures and all legislation connected to your work.

•Remain up-to-date and compliant with all organisational procedures policies and professional codes of conduct and uphold standards of best practice.

Person Specification:

Knowledge

You are required to have:

•A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel.

•Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.

Experience

You are required to have experience of:

•Collating monitoring and evaluation information.

•Providing administrative support to a team.

•Minute taking.

•Using a website CMS (Content Management System) to update and add content to a website.

You are required to have:

•Computer literacy skills.

•Experience of working with databases.

•Excellent communication, both written and verbal, when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals.
