Reunion: August 17, 2017 - While it may seem like a nano second ago it has been years since that walk to the podium to receive our high school diplomas. In preparation for our 50th reunion we are compiling information about our class which will be available in a free Mini-Monument and we need your input. We hope you feel comfortable sharing the life you’ve led as we are eager to see how things turned out for our Washington Warriors. The Mini-Monument will list contact information as well as fun facts about our class – the largest graduating class in the state of Iowa. NO graduating class has topped our numbers!! Ok… It’s been a while since you’ve been given any homework but this assignment is important and fun. You won’t be graded on it but you still need to finish It.!! By all means, don’t put it off until the last minute! – Begin today and send it in soon!

And if for some reason you cannot attend the reunion (and we REALLY would like everyone to attend), we still want all of your information. As soon as we start receiving your completed questionnaires, Illene Hathaway and Susi Heuer will begin the process of putting together a reunion mini monument for you. We need to receive everything no later than July 1st. It will contain lots of neat kinds of stuff including information from you, photos, trivia and more!

Photos you ask – we would love a photo or two of you for the book - and then we would love a family picture (if that applies) and finally, we would like for you to look through your old photos from your days at WHS that you could share. If you do please send them to us or if you are in the “digital age” email us your photos. Don’t forget to write a caption on the back; include the approximate date of the photo and your name (so we know who it belongs to!) We will return your photos. Send as many photos as you wish and we will use as many as possible! SO, open your favorite beverage, crack your knuckles, and get ready to type or write away!!

Before you provide any info, here are some details you should know:

  1. Your information will be used in the Mini-Monument so don’t include anything that you don’t want to be public knowledge. While the more information we receive from you the better the Mini-Monument will be, we also want you to feel comfortable in sharing your life. Bottom line complete some questions or the entire questionnaire, knowing that it will be distributed to your former classmates.
  2. The Mini-Monument will be available in (paper or hard copy) and electronic forms and will be securely emailed or mailed to you after the reunion so we can add reunion pictures to it!
