Call to Order: Mark Morgan called the meeting to order at 11:45 a.m.
Guest Speakers: Our guest speaker was Jeff Benjamin (Owner/Partner of The Vetri Family of Restaurants). He spoke on opening the restaurant in The Moorestown Mall with business partner, Mark Vetri. He spoke about their foundation and their goal of giving back to the community.
Membership Committee: President-Elect Don Powell announced that current president, Mark Morgan, will be stepping down and will assume the position of Executive Director on January 1, 2015. He also announced the ballot for the upcoming election which will take place at the December General Membership Meeting. He also encouraged members to consider adding their name to the ballot and/or joining a MBA committee. The candidates include: Hala Al-Shawaf (PNC Bank), Kristen Babcock (Wing King), Candace Coleman (MoorArts), Brad Kenney (Moorestown Community House), and Josh Lipson (Karr Barth Associates).
The meeting was adjourned at 1:30 p.m.
The next MBA General Membership Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. at the Moorestown Community House.
