Description: This powerful, highly concentrated, ready-to-use, alkaline drain opener and maintainer may be used to clear clogged drains of organic matter, hair, paper, grease, and oils. As a drain maintainer, it can keep drain lines clear and free flowing and reduce offensive odors which are emitted by rancid matter in the drain lines. This alkaline drain opener works by saponification of grease and oil, turning them from hard, insoluble matter into soft, soapy-like material which is soluble in water. Note: Do not use this product with any other type of chemical.
Directions: When using this product, PROTECT FACE (especially eyes) by using full face shield or cup-type chemical goggles, AND OTHER PORTIONS OF BODY by using rubber gloves, rubber boots and rubber aprons. Use with adequate ventilation. Slow Running Drains: Remove as much standing water as possible. Pour product into drain line and allow wetting agents and penetrants to work for at least 5 minutes. Flush through with hot water. Use from 1/4 cup to 1 cup of product, depending on drain size and extent of clog. Stopped Up Drains: Remove any standing water. Pour product into drain line. Allow to remain for 10 to 20 minutes. Flush through with hot water. If drain is still slow running, use plunger and hot water and repeat procedure.
POISON!: Contains Potassium Hydroxide. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. Follow protection measure specified under DIRECTIONS. DO NOT use before or after other chemical drain openers or any other chemicals. Use from this bottle only and DO NOT transfer contents into may other container. NEVER add water to contents while in container because of violent reaction. DO NOT attempt to disassemble plumbing or remove clean-out plug(s) from lines containing this product. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Do not mix with other household chemicals. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. FIRST AID: External: Remove contaminated clothing. Flush immediately with water for 15 minutes or 3% boric acid solution or vinegar. Call physician immediately. Internal: Do not induce vomiting. Drink large quantities of water followed by citrus juice. Call physician immediately. Eyes: Flush immediately with water for 15 minutes while holding lids apart. Call physician immediately.
Container Disposal: When container is completely empty, triple rinse before discarding to prevent accidental burns. Puncture container and discard according to local regulations.
