Group 1: GMP Feedback(Small Group Activity)

Context / The purpose of this activity is to review the feedback collected on version 0.1 of GMP-USA and to decide what, if any, changes need to be made to the document.
Objective / Review the feedback on GMP-USA version 0.1 and update the document accordingly.
Process / Small Group Assignment
Your group is responsible for reviewing the feedback collected on the current draft of the GMP-USA document and then making the necessary change.
Use the following questions to stimulate your dialog:
•  What are the patterns evident in the feedback?
•  What changes to the document should be made?
Find a breakout area. Using the markers provided, use the white walls to brainstorm your key thoughts and feelings and develop your changes.

Context / This activity is to begin looking at how GMP-USA might be used for self-assessment and continual improvement. You have some printed copies of the GMP-USA document and you have access to the internet and the gmpusa.org web site if you need it.
Your group will take the perspective of medical students and specifically focus on the section of GMP-USA called Patient Care.
Objective / Specific to the chapter of GMP-USA about Patient Care, AND, from the perspective of Medical Students, identify the data you would want to have to be able to support self-assessment and improvement throughout medical school.
Process / Small Group Assignment
For this section of the GMP-USA document, from the perspective of Medical Students, develop a model of what you would want to know in order to support your self-assessment and improvement in these competencies. Use the following questions to stimulate your dialog and develop your model:

Context / The purpose of this activity is to synthesize the work focused on the Patient Care section of GMP-USA.
Objective / Synthesize the work on the Patient Care section of GMP-USA from the previous round.
Process / Small Group Assignment
Review the work from the previous round focused on the Patient Care chapter of the GMP-USA document. Identify the patterns and begin to develop a single model that articulates the data we should collect to support all stakeholders in a system of self-learning, assessment and improvement. Then, begin to identify the sources of the data and the assessment tools that can possibly be used to support these competencies.
