Report Card Scenarios

Listed below are two hypothetical elementary or middle schools, one each at the In Need of Improvement and Satisfactory levels. Included are scenarios by which each school could raise its report card rating. The data are simplified, but they accurately reflect how schools can raise their rating.

Below are the current cutoffs for the achievement ratings for elementary and middle schools.

This school could raise its rating from In Need of Improvement to Satisfactory by doing any one of the following:

Increasing the percent of students meeting growth targets by 4%
Increase the percent of students meeting by 4%
Moving 10% of students from meeting to exceeding
