MINUTES, HENDERSON CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2015
Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Mayor Paul Menne at the community meeting room. Present were council members Jeff Steinborn, Kelly Braun, James Brenno and Randy Tiegs. Also present were Joe Duncan from Bolton and Menk and Police Chief Randy Haken.
Motion Steinborn, seconded Tiegs approve minutes from the January 6, 2015 meeting. Motion carried.
Written January report from Police Chief Haken presented. Council Member Tiegs indicated he would work to a revised snowbird ordinance
Joe Duncan presented bids for the FEMA debris removal project. He recommended awarding to Dirt Merchants or Mankato for $191,509.50. Motion Tiegs, seconded Braun to award the 2015 FEMA debris removal per the Bolton and Menk recommendation. Motion carried. He also presented the second phase of the reconnaissance study related to flood mitigation. In addition, a discussion was held on that these projects would be included in the Sibley County Emergency Management Plan.
There was also discussion relating to an attorney letter on the Buesgens property in Henderson Township on Ridge Road. The matter has been turned over to the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance.
City Administrator reported on activity report and codes and policies, comprehensive plan meeting schedule and the status of disaster 4182 and the Blandin Broadband meeting.
Tiegs and Steinborn reported on the MRVPC meeting.

Berberich presented 2015-02 Resolution of the revised 2014 and 2015 budgets and fund transfers. Motion Tiegs, seconded Brenno to adopt Resolution 2015-02. Motion carried.
Motion Tiegs, seconded Steinborn to approve the revised meeting schedule; motion carried.
Mayor Menne adjourned the meeting at 8:40 P.M.
