Post Doctoral Research Fellow Position at Hokkaido University, Japan

Center for Experimental Research in Social Sciences (CERSS), Hokkaido University, invites applications for a two-year post-doctoral position (renewable after 2 years appointment on a yearly basis). CERSS is an active research center which applies various research perspectives from social sciences, especially from social psychology and general psychology, to use in research and education on "the relationships between society and humans". We are seeking an enthusiastic postdoc fellow who has a track record of conference presentations and publications. The postdoc fellow is expected to do the following duties:
DUTIES:

l  To assist and involve in a variety of research projects of the faculty

l  To perform and develop independent research projects related to the Global COE program “Center for the Sociality of Mind” (http://lynx.let.hokudai.ac.jp/CSM/english/index.html).


QUALIFICATIONS:

Ph.D or equivalent doctorate degree in psychology or in a social science discipline (such as sociology, anthropology and economics).


SALARY:
The postdoc position is funded by the Global COE program “Center for the Sociality of Mind”. The annual salary is about 4,500,000 yen (about US $40,000), including taxes and social security, depending on qualification and experiences. An additional research fund of 500,000 yen (about US $4,500) will be granted to the successful candidate.
