  • Parent/Teacher Interview (invite all parents for first term) after that only students who need attention
  • FSA’s (grade 7) earlier so results have more benefit to students, more interactive this year (based on end of grade 6 education)
  • Halloween dance/activity day: Princess Margaret DJ
  • Nov 9th 10:30am Remembrance Day ceremony
  • No stone left alone program: grade 8 placed poppies on grave stones with soldiers from local area
  • Term 1 ends: Dec 1st / Report Cards Dec 13th. Some teachers using Fresh grade: portfolio online/some using traditional grading
  • Winter Fine arts night Dec 20th concert 7pm band and fine arts
Budget Request:
Ms. Kylie Holmes, grade 8 drama club, script for play $415
Athletics: Finishing ceremony for marathon club (November 20), $250 (medals/appreciation)
Cross country club: $250
Office Fund/KVR wear: $500 to recognize kids who help out on their own initiative
Grade 7 team building with Hoodoo adventure $500

Discussed “Dough Raiser” Fundraising from COBS, encourage KVR community to say “KVR” when purchasing from COBS breads. Received a cheque for $49.98 from last year’s participation
