Jeff has been an EMS Provider since the EMS system began in Minnesota inthe mid 1970's. He has one of the lowest National Registry numbers, if not THE lowest number, in the state. Jeff served as an EMS field supervisor for HCMC ambulance for overtwo decades beforebecoming the communicationssupervisor for Ridgeview ambulance in Waconia,MN. Jeff has been an instructor for Inver Hills Community College since the paramedic program began in 1993 and was an adjunct instructor with 916- Northeast Metro Technical College (now Century College) before moving to Inver Hills. Many of the metro area paramedics and EMTs have had Jeff as an instructor. He is loved and admired by most of us in EMS.

Jeff had chest surgery on 11-1-11 to remove the Thymus gland so that his Myasthenia Gravis could be reasonably resolved. He has since been challenged with a number of setbacks and is currently in rehab in Mankato. We, the friends of Jeff Frederick, are organizing this benefit to help offset the many medical expenses incurred since November.
