FACILITY:Indoor, 10 lanes, 25 meter competition course, 25 yard warm-up/warm-down space available. Colorado Timing System. Open pool deck areas available for swimmers, coaches and officials only. Disabled spectator accessibility, ample parking, seating for 500 spectators, snack bar.

RESTRICTIONS:Tobacco products, alcoholic beverages and glass containers areprohibited. Shaving in the facility is prohibited.

RULES:Current USA Swimming, Inc. and Oregon Swimming, Inc. rules will govern theCompetition.

SAFETY CODE:Current Oregon Swimming safety guidelines and warm-up procedures will be in effect.

WARM-UPS:No earlier than 11:30 am. Teams will be contacted with the estimated meet start time prior to the date of competition.

COMPETITION: No earlier than 12:15pm. The meet will run short course metersand must finish at 4:00 pmon Saturday and Sunday.

ENTRY LIMIT:Swimmers may enter a maximum of three (3) events per day.

MEET LIMIT:First 250 entrants daily

ELIGIBILITY:Swimmers must be currently registered with USA Swimming or registeredwith a USA Swimming recognized foreign federation. No on deck registration willbe permitted. Swimmers must be within the published age brackets as of December 13, 2008. All swimmers must be supervised by a USA swimming certified coach at the meet. If they don’t have one, they must report to the meet referee prior to warm ups to be assigned one.

ENTRIES:

  1. Submit short course yardor meter times for seeding.
  2. Ages and USA Swimming registration numbers must be included.
  3. HY-TEK Meet Management Software will be used. You may e-mail HY-TEK entries. Please zip files and include a word team meet entry report. Send payment to entry address. E-mail to:
  4. On your team entry report, please include the following: “I have read the meet information, and attest that all competitors entered hereon are members of United States Swimming, Inc”. Include signature, name of coach or representative.

CHECK IN:200 meter events may be deck seeded if constraints to timeline exist. Coaches will be notified of deck seeding prior to the start of the meet. Positive check in will be required a minimum of forty five minutes prior to the start of each session. Events 100 yards and shorter will be pre-seeded. This can be changed at the discretion of the meet referee.

BULLPEN:There will be a bullpen for all 8 & under events.

ENTRY FEES:$5.00 Surcharge per swimmer ($1.50 OSI, $3.50 Facility Charge)

$2.00 Individual Event Fee

Fees must accompany master entry form. Make checks payable to: Tualatin Hills Swim Club. Fees must be in USA currency.

DEADLINE:5:00 PM, Friday, December 05, 2008. Do not leave entries at the pool.

Late entries will be considered on a case by case basis at the discretion of the meet referee.

AWARDS:1st-3rd place, individual events receive medals. 4th-8th, individual events receive ribbons. In the 11-O, 200 Back, Breast and Fly, awards will be given as 11-12 and 13-O. In all Open events, awards will be given as 10-U, 11-12 and13-O. In 12-U events, awards will be given as 10-U and 11-12.

MEETINGS:Coaches meeting held 15 minutes prior to start of each session.

Officials meeting held 45 minutes prior to the start of each session.

OFFICIALS:We always appreciate the help of Certified Officials from other clubs. Please

e-mail Peggy Lee @ , to add your name to the schedule. An officials’ hospitality room will be provided.

TIMERS:There will be timing sheets behind each block at the start of warm-ups to sign up for timing. Each team’s lane assignment requirement will be posted in the heat sheet. Lane assignments will be based on the total number of swimmers participating from each team.
