- Miller Elementary School is in Wayne County. It is also a part of this region called Michigan in the country of United States of America.
- Dearborn and Detroit are part of Wayne County.
- In Michigan we have large bridges- the Ambassador Bridge and Mackinac Bridge. These are human characteristics of Michigan since they were built by humans. These bridges connect one place to another.
- People would leave Michigan because of a new job or want warmer climate.
- A new auto plant has opened up in the Detroit area, so new jobs will be created and people will move to the area.
- Zebra mussels have come to the Great Lakes attached to freighters that have traveled around the world. They have disrupted our ecosystem. Michigan leaders have asked a scientist from California to help with this problem because they may know of a solution to help us that we did not think of.
