1. CALL TO ORDER: 2:04 p.m.
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
3. ELECTION OF CHAIR
· Each candidate will be allowed 60 seconds to make a statement
o Statement by candidate Praveen Soni
A vote ensued to select Chair Soni as Chair for 2015-16:
Approve: 44
Oppose: 10
Chair Soni was reelected to be the Chair for 2015-16.
4. ELECTION OF VICE CHAIR
· Each candidate will be allowed 60 seconds to make a statement
o Statement by candidates Alan Colburn, Norbert Schürer
A vote ensued to elect a Vice-Chair for 2015-16:
Alan Colburn: 23
Norbert Schürer: 32
Senator Schürer was elected to be the Vice-Chair for 2015-16.
5. ELECTION OF SECRETARY
· Each candidate will be allowed 60 seconds to make a statement
o Statement by candidates Jody Cormack, Rob Frear, Richard Marcus
A vote ensued to elect a secretary for 2015-16:
Jody Cormack: 27
Rob Frear: 15
Richard Marcus: 12
A vote ensued between the candidates that had the highest votes:
Jody Cormack: 31
Rob Frear: 24
Senator Cormack was elected to serve as the Secretary for 2015-16.
6. SEQUENTIAL ELECTION OF FOUR AT-LARGE MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
· Each candidate will be allowed 60 seconds to make a statement
Nominations were made and a vote ensued to elect a member.

Senator Pandya was elected as first member at large.

Senator Jaffe was elected as the second member at large.

Senator Brazier was elected as the third member at large.
Fourth Member at Large:
Rob Frear: 23
Sharon Olson: 28
Senator Olson was elected to serve as the fourth member at large.
7. ELECTION/CONFIRMATION OF COLLEGE/UNIT REPRESENTATIVES TO THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE
· One senator from each college, one senator from the library, one senator from Counseling and Psychological Services, and one lecturer senator. Two senators from the College of Liberal Arts.
The following Senators were elected:

The nominees were unanimously approved.
