Ladies Amateur Rackets Doubles Championship 2016

Entries
Players wishing to enter the Championship should complete this form and email Tom Newman/ Master i/c Rackets. Email:; with the Tennis Rackets Association , by noon on 4 November 2016.
If you do not have a partner, but would like to enter, please inform Tom Newman and he will endeavour to find you a partner. The earlier informed, the more likely a partner will be found.
Entry fees must be paid by 14 November 2016 in order to be entered into the draw.
Late Entrants
Late entrants may only be included in the draw prior to the first ball of the championship being struck at the discretion of the organiser. Late entrants may only take the place of players who have withdrawn.
Entry fee
£15 per player 28 and over on 20th November 2016 (fee will go up to £25 if not paid before 4 November 2016)
£10per player under 28on 20th November2016 (fee will go up to £20 if not paid before 4 November2016)
Entry fees are payable to Tennis Rackets Association via the online Shop
Playing times
Competitors must expect to be available at all times during the tournament. Whilst the organisers will give every consideration to meeting competitors’ wishes, they cannot guarantee to accommodate all individual requirements. Players who are unavailable to play on Friday may be subject to concentrated play on Saturday but this not preferable!
Draw
The Draw will take place and will be distributed on 14 November 2016
Stewards
The stewards for the tournament will be Tom Newman and Noel Brett. Their decision on any dispute will be final.
Rules
The Tournament will be played in accordance with the T&RA Laws of Rackets and the T&RA Rackets Tournament Rules and Procedures & players must be members of T&RA.
Format
- Theformat will be determined by the depth of entry but will be designed to allow each pair to play several matches.
- Matches will be best of 3 games, with the final being best of 5 games.
Social Events
- On Saturday evening, there will be a dinner at the College and all are welcome
- Although not mandatory, everyone is encouraged to join in with both occasions…only 4 make the final – the rest make up the atmosphere!
Accommodation
- All players who enter the event and attend the Saturday dinner will be accommodated by the College
