I. Call to Order
Chairperson Ms. Berkman called the meeting to order at 9:16 a.m.
II. Approval of prior Meeting Minutes
Minutes 16-04; february 22, 2016
Mr. Michelson moved to approve the minutes as presented. Mr. Antonetz seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
III. TOWN HALL REPORT- MR. CHINAULT
* Gazebo in Douglas Park was taken care of by an exterminator.
* Swale installed for Ernest Kouwen-Hoven Riverside Park parking area.
* Irrigation zone problem fixed inside Douglas Park and the back flow prevention was repaired for the Fifth Avenue Median.
* Sprinkler heads replaced inside Nance and Orlando Parks.
* Trees removed inside Vince Benevente Sunset Park.
* The top boards will be replaced along the west side of the boardwalk in Indialantic Ocean Beach Park.
* Donor sign in Orlando Park has been replaced and trim has been added. The old sign is located upstairs in Town Hall for safekeeping.
IV. Beautification
Status of Beautification Award sign
Ms. Berkman moved to recognize 307 Fourth Avenue, with the Committee’s beautification sign. Mr. Antonetz seconded the motion and the motion carried unanimously. Ms. Mercer will send a letter to the property owner advising of the Committee’s decision. The sign will remain at the current location of 300
Miami Avenue, until arrangements have been made to relocate the sign. Nominations for the next location will be brought before the committee at the next scheduled meeting.

Mr. Gott mentioned that a light is falling down on the north side of the pier.
Sunrise Park & VINCENT BENEVENTE SUNSET PARK - Bernie Gott
Vince Benevente Sunset Park- no comments.
Sunrise Park- Ms. Peters suggested that no play equipment be placed inside the park, without proper shading over the equipment.
Mr. Gott advised the cleared out area, near the large sea grapes and shelter house look good.

NANCE PARK & Indian River PARK – BILL ANTONETZ
Trees are to be trimmed inside Nance Park, in the near future. The current landscaping company for the Town will be trimming the trees.
ORLANDO PARK & Dewey Park – LISA PETERS & Jennifer McGill
Ms. Peters noted that the bench in Orlando Park keeps being relocated by unknown subjects. Mr. Chinault and Mr. Gervais advised that the bench had been relocated across the park, but unknown subjects keep moving it back to the Track Ride.

FRDAP Grant sunrise park fy-18
Mr. Chinault advised for Sunrise Park, the FY-18 FRDAP grant to include five play items, replacing the wooden ramp to the covered observation deck (aka picnic shelter) with Moisture Shield. Replacing the
metal roof of the picnic shelter and adding a picnic pad and tables near the existing drainage retention area (dra). Support was indicated for play items and existing dra and
not considering a see saw. New play equipment to include two cars, Dayton express and a wavebreak. All present agreed with Mr. Chinault’s suggestions.
Ms. Peters would like to see a small skateboard ramp inside the park. Mr. Chinault will look at other locations and make note.
