MidState Educators Credit Union
Scholarship Guidelines
MidState Educators Credit Union has developed a college scholarship program to assist our members in their goals to achieve a higher education.
Scholarship Amount
A $2000.00 one-year scholarship to any two or four year accredited college or university. A total of five (5) $2000.00 scholarships will be awarded.
Eligibility
Applicant must be a primary MidState Educators Credit Union member in good standing with the credit union. Applicant must be a 2009 high school graduate planning to attend college in the fall as a full-time student. MidState Educators Credit Union employees, board members and their immediate families are ineligible to apply.
Selection Criteria
The scholarship(s) awarded will be based on the following criteria:
- Academic Achievement
- Community/Extra Curricular Activities
- Letters of Recommendation
- Written Essay
- Financial Need
Scholarship Award Procedures
The scholarship is awarded for one (1) academic year only. The scholarship funds are paid to the applicant upon receipt of the Scholarship Acceptance Affidavit.

PART B
This section will provide you with the opportunity to allow us to learn more about you. Please print or type your answers to the following questions.
