Objectives
To improve the affordability of non-mains energy charges for eligible low-income households.
Description of the service
A rebate for concession households who rely on LP gas, alternative fuel or non-mains metered electricity as their primary domestic energy source.

Key performance measure 1: Number of rebates
Definition / This measure provides information on the demand for non-mains concessions.Aim/objective / To improve the affordability of non-mains energy charges for eligible low-income households.
Type of count / Cumulative
Counting rule / If anapplicationfor two energy types is approved, the applicant receives a rebate for both energy types. This is counted as two rebates.
Monitoring frequency / Annual
Data source(s) collection / Non-mains energy concession database
Definition of terms / Applicants can apply for assistance for more than one energy type at the same time. An applicant can, for example, receive a rebate for non-mains electricity and LP gas.
