Programme Outline

This is the tale of Snow White and the seven dwarfs. When the Queen, Snow White’s stepmother, learns from her magic mirror that Snow White is the most beautiful lady on earth, she is so jealous that she decides to kill her. Guided by his conscience, the huntsman sent by the Queen releases Snow White in the forest where she finds refuge in the cottage of the seven dwarfs. The seven dwarfs are Doc, Grumpy, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Happy and Dopey. Each of them behaves exactly as their names suggest, e.g. Happy laughs all day long, Doc looks after everyone, etc. During her stay with the seven dwarfs, a passing Prince falls in love with her at first sight. When the Queen discovers that Snow White is still alive, she disguises herself as an old woman and kills her with a poisonous apple. All ends well when Snow White miraculously comes back to life upon the Prince’s kiss.
