Health Promotion
Volunteer responsibilities: clean yoga mats, refold blankets, organize supplies in the CPC closet, make copies of health coach handouts, keep pamphlet wall supplied, make condom packets, deliver materials to other campus offices, type and create handouts, and data entry of the SHAPE presentation evaluations
Cle
Medical Clinic
Volunteer Responsibilities: Assist nurses working with patients in primary care. Duties include escorting patients to rooms, lab, ER, etc. Obtaining vital signs, height and weight, stocking rooms; cleaning rooms in preparation for the next patient; observing patient/nurse interactions and procedures when appropriate.
Marketing
Volunteer Responsibilities: Help brainstorm and develop branding/marketing campaigns for Student Health Center events, programs and wellness campaigns. This includes print materials, social media messages, video creation and design. Experience with InDesign or Photoshop would be helpful, but not necessary.
Prevention
(Immunization/Travel Clinic and contact investigation)
Volunteer Responsibilities: Observing nurse interaction with patients -travel visits, TB visits, filing immunization records, walking patients to blood draws, stocking supplies.
