HOME SAFE & SOUND INITIATIVES: Loans available to owner-occupants of residential single-family structures located within a Neighborhood Pride Area for the correction of structural deterioration; roof leakage and deterioration; or inoperable mechanical systems.
MOBILE TOOL LIBRARY: Tools for home maintenance and repair projects can be borrowed by homeowners, renters and non-profit organizations within CDBG Service Areas.

HOME REPAIR: Minor home repairs for income eligible FranklinCounty homeowners 60 and over. Will provide wheelchair ramps, mechanical system repairs, safety devices, and pest control for income qualified senior homeowners. NO air conditioning or roof work.
WHEELCHAIR RAMP ASSISTANCE: The eligibility requirements include resident 60+ years of age living in the home and requiring the ramp for access; income at or below 275% of the Federal Poverty Level; not eligible for any other program able to provide access.

URGENT REPAIR: Assisting income qualified FranklinCountyowner-occupants with the repair of emergency conditions in their homes.
HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY: Assists persons with disabilities to remain in the home through a maximum $6,500 grant to remove architectural barriers to entering/leaving the home and to accessing the bathroom and/or kitchen facilities.
SEWER SYSTEM REPAIR: Grants up to $7,000 per household for the repair/replacement of septic systems or water wells.
WATER QUALITY PARTNERSHIP LOAN: Provides loans to low/moderate income homeowners in Water Quality Partnership Areas of the county. Eligible homeowners connected to a main sewer line will have a lien placed against the property as a forgivable loan that reduces over a 10-year period.
