RIVERBEND HIGH SCHOOL

The purpose of the summer assignment for the AP Human Geography course is to introduce students to terms and places that are studied during the 2016-2017 school year. The assessment for the summer assignment is a vocab/map identification test on the first day of school. Please contact me with any questions and/or to see helpful tips. Ms. Anderson

VOCAB AND MAP= “VO-MAP” LIST

·  VOCAB= Define the listed terms with relevant definitions. Also learn the word variant. Use an appropriate dictionary. Flash cards are a great help and a good study skill to learn.

·  MAP= Locate and identify the listed places on a world map. Use any atlas, encyclopedia, or the Internet. If you don’t want to study a printed atlas, try printing the outline maps and fill them in on your own. Makes a great study trick! Be sure to quiz yourself before the first day test! There are also some good online mapping games.
