I.  Welcome – presented by Catherine Kager / 2:30pm

II.  Committee and Chair Reports:

a.  PTA Report - staff tee-shirt sizing opportunities, student shirts can be purchased on-line only, Bingo Night (June 1)

b.  SAF Report - none

c.  ESE Report – none

d.  EAB Report – none

e.  Principal Report – Conveyed modular arrival and playground construction time frames

f.  Committee Reports

1.  Reading- workshops - DBQ

2.  Writing - DBQ

3.  Math- Great response at Math Night.

4.  Science –

5.  Technology- School is moving into Outlook 365 for email.

III.  Old Business:

a.  Slate of Officers will be voted on for next school 2016-2017 year at the May 16 meeting. The SAC Officers are elected for a 2 year period.

b.  SAC Monies spent for reading- Scholastic Magazines for 6 months, remaining funds of $800 was spent on novels for teachers to use in classrooms.

IV.  New Business:

a.  Mrs. McCarthy Update - ASP- ELOP (Extended Learning Opportunities Program). 1st Session for the new school year

b.  SIP Updates: A+ Recognition Funds – distributed to districts April 26, 2016

c.  Accreditation Process – SAVE THE DATES OCTOBER 23-26, 2016 – Leadership Team

d.  Assist Portfolio – May 5 – SAC Workshop Updated Information

e.  Vote on: RazKids for Kindergarten and one class license for low 1st – 2nd Graders for next year. Cost would be $1,234.35. / AR to be paid by PTA for 2016/17 school year.

f.  Vote on SAC Officers for 2016-2017 / voted via email due to low attendance

The SAC Officers are elected for a 2 year period.
