Procedures for collection and delivery

Dear Pinnacle Express Customer and Supplier,

Collection Requests:

You are requested to complete a collection order as attached to our Johannesburg branch.

Please fax +27114629099 or . An electronic request will be logged. The Botswana client will receive an email with a TRK number. Please contact us if you do not receive any response within 30 min.

Your reference number that is required to collect the consignment is very important, as some suppliers will not release goods without it. We request that you book a collection only once goods are confirmed ready as we are not always able to accommodate collection times.

Approximate size and mass is required so that we can send the correct size vehicle to do the collection.

You will be charged a standard collection fee, where goods are not ready or any other condition, where we cannot do the collection, due to the fault of either customer or the supplier.

Special arrangements:

As we are a courier service we make use of 1 ton vehicles and we would like to request that any consignments greater than 500 kg or that may not fit in a 1 ton vehicle (with multiple orders) be arranged at least a day before the time.

Collection Times:

All collection requeststo be collected that day must reach us before:

MON-FRI: PTA collection bookings before 10:00

MON-THUR: JHB collection bookings before 13:00

FRIDAY: JHB collection bookings before 12:00

No collection bookings will be arranged for after 14:00 without prior arrangements with management telephonically and in writing.

Your request will be evaluated and accommodated according to high risk areas, weights, dimensions, staff, vehicles and resources available.

Packaging:

All containers are to be marked clearly with both the names of the consignor and the consignee.

All items are to be packed to prevent possible breakage.

Collection:

We accept responsibility only for the number of containers received and signed for at the point of collection and not for the contents on the waybill.

Delivery:

At the point of delivery you sign for the number of containers received and for all your documentation (Supplier invoice stamped by SA and Botswana borders, SARS release notice, original SAD500, CN1, CN2, original BW500 stamped by Botswana border and original VAT Assessment Notice stamped by Botswana border.)

Where we are in possession of a signed waybill for a consignment, we will not be held responsible for lost documentation.

Equipment hire is available on request. Quotes must be obtained and once accepted delivery will be arranged.

Special requirements:

Suppliers must have a valid exporter’s code.

Botswana customer must have a valid Tin number.

Any high value consignments invoice must be send through with the collection booking so that arrangements can be made for payment of VAT at customs

Insurance:

We do not carry any insurance on any consignment. All insurance is the responsibility of either the sender or receiver.

Logistics:

Any equipment or staff required to assist with loading or offloading of goods is the responsibility of the sender or receiver. We will gladly assist with obtaining quotes
