Snee Hall Room Reservation Policy and Request Form

Snee Hall Rooms Available For Reservation:

1)  Available through College of Engineering:

(These are R25 rooms and reservations must be made through the College of Engineering’s Registrar’s Office by filling out an online request - no phone requests): http://www.engineering.cornell.edu/resources/registrar/reserve_room.cfm

2)  Available through Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences:

All rooms are available on a first come first served basis. Individuals and groups using premises must comply with all University Policies as well as Departmental Policies regarding use of space at Snee Hall.

·  The following Snee Use Request Form and applicable University forms must be submitted and approved prior to use of space at Snee Hall. Event holder is responsible for forwarding all approvals and confirmation notices to Snee Hall administrator, Janet Williams prior to event.

·  Food and refreshments are permitted, however registrant is responsible for all clean up associated with event either by your own personnel, catering personnel and/or via a “Ticket” for custodial services. Expenses for clean up are to be covered by registrant and will not be absorbed by Snee Hall or EAS. Clean up includes disposal of all event trash into building dumpster, cleaning of floors and surfaces littered with food/ waste, cleaning of prep areas and borrowed equipment (kitchen, sink, fridge, etc.) that have been messed by activities of the event.

·  Individuals and groups using premises are responsible for locking of facilities if event is held after 4:30 M-F and/or on the weekend. Building access needs to be arranged 48 hours prior to event.

·  Some tables and chairs are available on site for event use. Set up and arrangements are the responsibility of the registrant.

·  AV equipment is available for use and arrangements for use must be made at time of registration. General training for use is available at no charge. AV support during an event will not be provided by EAS.
