Our Kick Off Meeting for 2003 will be at one of our favorite cruise spots in Schiller Park, IL. For those of you who have not been to Hubcaps Diner you are in for a treat. Automotive nostalgia from another era is the theme, which is rather enjoyable.
We will start the meeting at 10:30 to allow adequate time for the technical session prior to lunchtime. If you stay for lunch or not will be your call. This in itself should be an excellent winter diversion, as many of up will probably hang around to bench race our Buicks.
Gary Kouba with Perfect Auto Finish will be our guest speaker. Gary is semi-retired and operates a show car detail business. He taught one of our members Brad Berger how to maintain the paint on his car. To Gary a good detail job on a car takes six (6) hours. This session will include what are the better products and how to use these products without damage to your car’s finish.

· From I294 take I190 west toward O'Hare· Take the Rt.45 (Mannheim Rd.) exit south
· Mannheim Rd. to Lawrence Avenue
· East (Left) on Lawrence under I294 to Ruby St.
· South (Right) on Ruby Street
· Hubcaps is at the southwest corner of Ruby and Leland Ave. /
Directions from Eisenhower Expressway
· Take 25th Avenue Exit North· Cross Irving Park Road
· After the bend in 25th Ave look for Leland Ave.
· Turn east (right) on Leland
· Hubcaps will be the last building on the south side (right)

This meeting will also be officer nomination time. It is the time of year to find fresh ideas on running our Chapter. This is very important so come with your fresh ideas.
Our February meeting will be the annual election of officers.
