A standardized fund for stickers and crayons for all out-patient pediatric areas

A fund/supply for infant rattles, teething toys and stimulation for babies on all units (NICU, PICU, in-patient, PER, etc)

A fund for teenagers to use to connect with their friends (phone cards, …..i-tunes, etc)

Lap top Computers/I-Pads

A standardized beautician to come visit the pre-teens and teens and teach them how to style hair, do their nails, grooming, beard, sideburns mustache styling and good grooming techniques (acne prevention, etc) Dillards /Macy’s

Pottery Person to come in and have the kids decorates /makes plaster of Paris models

Massage/Yoga Therapist for patients and their care givers on a regular basis

Horticulture Specialist to help heal and create a never ending garden for the in-patient units

Dry Erase Circle to be used in every room and given to the patient if desired (approx. $10 each)

Poster Library:

Library of Wall Pops and laminated Posters for Patients to pick and hang in their rooms (anywhere from $5.00 each to $12.00 ...The lamentation is what would be more expensive approx. $20 per poster)

Ceiling tiles approx. $200.oo to cover lights in Clinic and PICU

A Fund for parents who can not afford formula/ diapers for their children…any amount would be helpful…gift cards to Wal-Mart, for example….(Target)

A supply of rattles, crazy straws, pinwheels, tethers (approx $5.00 each depending on where purchased and we would need a supply….as we have so many infants!)

The Lollipop Theatre Project Quoted as $5050.00 they will negotiate cost once they get more donors after the New Year! (2012)

Funding for the Portable Playhouse Beading Program

A Magician to teach the patients Slight of hand “trick’s on a regular basis ($100 a visit)

A Library of C-D’s, More updated books and Magazines and DVDs to be used on all pediatric Units C-d’s vary from $5- $14 each depending on where you purchase them

A fund for books for all ages to encourage and spread the joy of imagination…(as well as skills!) Most programs are for children 1-5 years………
