Information for Practices
Duplicate Discharge Summaries:
Thank you for your DATIX feedback on the issue duplicate electronic discharge summaries being received, including the spike in duplicates received over August. Duplicates arise for a number of reasons, some technical and some behavioural. However the OUHFT have identified the main cause of the current surge in duplicates and have developed a solution which, subject to testing and implementation, should drastically reduce the number being received by practices. We expect this to take effect within a month and will be in contact again to confirm that the fix has beensuccessfullyimplemented.
