Scholarship Application

Amount of Scholarship: Two scholarships in the amount of $500.00 each will be awarded to the selected senior female and male athlete.

Eligibility: The Al Limberg / ELC Booster Club Scholarships will be awarded annually at the ELC High School Awards Day in May to qualifying ELC senior student-athletes. To be considered for eligibility for this scholarship the student must:

1. Applicants must complete the attached application form in its entirety.

2. Students must have lettered or will be lettering in at least one sport during their senior year of high school. Athletes not lettering in any other sport during their senior year and are involved in spring and summer sports will be eligible but verification of the student lettering in a sport will be required in order to receive the scholarship.

3. Applicants must have a minimum of a cumulative 2.0 grade point average based on seven (7) semesters of high school and be eligible for graduation in May of the current year.

Application Deadline: Completed applications must be returned to the guidance office by April 15th. Mr. Leonard will complete verification and eligible athletes’ applications will be forwarded to the ELC Booster Club Board of Directors.

Selection Process: All eligible athlete’s names will be grouped by females and males and placed in a drawing. One female and one male name will be drawn from the eligible entries.

Distribution of Monies: The scholarship will be issued directly to the student upon successful completion of three semesters of post-secondary education or 36 credits (which ever occurs first) with at least a cum gpa of 2.0.
