Webinar Live Tweeting Sponsorship
Webinar sponsors can participate directly in the “live tweeting” that occurs on Twitter during the webinar. Live tweeting allows the audience to talk among themselves, and gives the sponsor the opportunity to engage in 2-way connections with the audience. This “Webinar Live Tweeting Sponsorship” provides a unique sponsor-branded focal point for live tweeting, and includes:
· Co-branded “live tweet” page hosted on Edweek.org. This page displays all the tweets tagged with the unique hashtag for the webinar as chosen by Edweek.
o Sponsor receives exclusive marketing presence on the live tweet page with:
§ 728x90 and 160x600 banner ad spots
§ 120x60 logo
§ Promotion of sponsor’s Twitter name
§ Brief marketing message and optional list of linked resources
o The live tweet page goes up 2-3 weeks prior to the webinar, and remains up for at least 3 months afterward.
· Promotion of the webinar, live tweet page, and hashtag via the @EducationWeek Twitter feed, which has nearly 12,000 followers (as of September 2009).
o Pre-event tweets with frequency of:
§ 1 tweet per day beginning 2 weeks prior to the webinar
§ 2-3 tweets per day beginning 1 week prior
§ 3 tweets per day the day before and day of
§ Kick-off tweet 5 minutes before
o Post-event tweets with frequency of 2-3 tweets the day after.
o Sample tweet language:

· Additional promotion of the live tweet page and hashtag on:
o Confirmation and reminder emails sent to webinar registrants
o Webinar lobby page

· Marketing message (200 words max) and optional list of linked resources (10 max)
Pricing and Terms:
· $2,995 net
· Available only as an add-on to the standard webinar sponsorship
· Important Note: Edweek will *not* provide any live tweeting play-by-play of the webinar. It is up to the audience and sponsor to build the conversation.
