School begins at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at 3:25 p.m. each day

Students are to go to the commons upon entering the building in the morning, not to their lockers!

All communication for 5th grade re: your child is through the MS. Examples would be if your child is sick, appointment, coming in late, etc.
Reminder - Students that are absent because of doctor's appointment will need to have a note from the doctor's office. Thank you for your cooperation!
USE OF SCHOOL PHONE: Use of the school phone to call home regarding school matters is allowed on Lunch Break or with a pass from your teacher. Passes will not be issued if you are late to class. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
· Cell Phones – are to be in your school locker. If they are seen or heard in a class they will be taken by the teacher and turned into the office. You can check your messages at your locker between classes. Phones are not allowed in the lunchroom. Thank you for your cooperationJ

UPCOMING EVENTS:
Middle School Cross Country – The meet today is at Royal Valley (Hoyt) beginning at 4:00PM. The bus will leave at 2:45 PM.
Middle School Volleyball – The girls play today at ACCJHS (Effingham) beginning at 4:30 PM. The bus leaves at 3:15 PM.
The Jeff West “B” Team tournament is Saturday, September 24th beginning at 9:00 AM. The 8th Grade will play at the High School / 7th Grade plays at the Middle School.
Middle School Football – Football teams play today at ACCJHS (Effingham) at 4:00 PM. The bus leaves at 2:50 PM.

Volleyball Parents- We are asking that a parent of each child out for volleyball sign-up for 1 shift in the MS Concession stand during volleyball season. If we cannot get help, unfortunately we will not be able to have concessions at the games. Please sign-up at https://www.konstella.com/cd/uUTS67
Family Wellness Night tonight from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. Games, Health Stations, Treats, Movement Opportunities – something for Tigers of all ages.
Jeff West Homecoming is Friday, September 30th! The Homecoming parade and pep rally will be Wednesday, September 23rd. The parade starts at 6:30 and all community groups and individuals are encouraged to participate in the parade. Please call the High School if you are interested in participating.
