Table S1. Physico-chemical properties of the selected non-steroid anti-inflammatory

drugs (NSAIDs) including diclofenac (DFC), acetaminophen (APAP) and ibuprofen

(IBP) a.

Table S2. Concentrations of diclofenac, acetaminophen and ibuprofen measured after different exposure periodsa. “Spiked concentration” represents the theoretically spiking concentrations of three NSAIDs chemicals, while “Day 1, Day 3, Day 7, Day 14 and Day 21” represent the 1st, 3rd, 7th, 14th, and 21th day of toxicity testing, respectively. Data were presented as the mean concentration (avg) of four replicates, as well as the concentrationdeviation (CD), which was caulcated by equation 1b.

a Samples were analyzed in fold of each levels. No chemicals were detected in

the control samples.

bCD (%) =[ (Ci-C0)/C0]*100 (1)

where C0 represents the theoretically spiked concentrations of each NSAID chemicals, and Ci represents the acutually detected concentrations of each NSAID chemicals after different exposure periods.
