Achievements

q  Presented with two awards upon leaving Sixth Form; for my excellent work produced in English Language and one for my hard work and effort within Sociology.

q  Level 2 Food Safety certificate.

q  Previously appointed as a Student Mentor for Newcastle University, in which I am required to teach younger school children and mentor them with lessons and their education; improving their writing, reading and communication skills.

q  During AS level year at school enjoyed supporting younger children (aged 11-13 years old). A weekly commitment, with the objective of helping children improve their reading, writing and working with them to build their confidence. It was important that each child felt confident to speak out loud and was comfortable with language features. This project was very rewarding; especially the responsibility and challenge of finding ways to build the self esteem of those children who needed extra support and help developing their communication skills.
