Just on the side— in the table where most of the guys— where all of us were members of the 11th Congressm, the Congress that placed President Arroyo, in the presidency. (applause) It’s a little bit nostalgic and a sense of purpose for today’s— and nakikita ko yan, most of— kasama tayo noon except for a few and I’m very happy to meet you again.
I wish to— Representative Rodolfo Farinas and Rudy Cesar Farinas II, a Happy Birthday! You both deserve a moment of joyful celebration for another year of prosperity and opportunities coming your way.
To Rudy, your life has been a loving family man and a passionate public servant embodied the strength of your character and leadership.
I hope that your dedication as a dignified statesman would inspire you even more to become a voice of reason and truth in all pursuits. (applause)
I thank you for your contributions or shared vision of upholding the integrity of the legislative body.
I pray that you will remain resolute in carrying out many noteworthy undertakings for the country and for our people.
To Rudy’s Cesar II: You are young and you have your whole life ahead of you. Become a man of integrity and character just like your father and success will surely follow you in all the days of your life.
