Participant Criteria
Women's Leadership Boot Camp is designed for women recently promoted or transitioning into management roles.Participants have two to ten years of career experience and represent a variety of industries. Ideal candidates are recognized as high potential employees who aspire to higher-level management roles.Within their organizations, participants:
Assume responsibility for definable projects
Have technical breadth in their field
Have established credibility and a strong, professional reputation
Understand the broad business perspective of their industry

Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Class size is limited to 50 participants.
Tuition Information
Tuition for the Women’s Leadership Boot Camp is $2,500.This includesprofessionalspeakers, leadership assessments, materials,program supplies, lunch and beverages at each session. Full tuition is due by August 1, 2008.
Payment is required with registration. You can pay the tuition in-full, or elect to pay a $500 non-refundable deposit. If you choose to pay tuition in-full, please note that $500 is non-refundable in the event that the participant withdraws her application.
Registration is not considered complete until either your full-payment or deposit is received.Payment can be made on-line at or by check made payable to YWCA Greater Cleveland.
Scholarship Information
A limited number of scholarships are available to women who represent non-profit organizations. Scholarships are based on level of need, with priority based on order of registration.To apply, please complete the scholarship application available online at
Participant Expectations
Participants are encouraged to take full advantage of the program’s many facets and engage in the learning process to their fullest capacity. Please give the following program expectations serious consideration. Commitment to the program provides everyone a rich and rewarding experience. If you feel you cannot meet the expectations of the program, please reconsider your application.
Attending all sessions, with the exception of emergencies (see website for date/time details)
Engaging and participating in all sessions
Courteous behavior during sessions; no use of cell phones, BlackBerrys, or pagers, except during allotted break times
Completing all assignments, homework and assessments on-time
Meeting with supervisor and/or sponsor between sessions
Meeting with Learning Partner between sessions

Approve participant’s time out of the office for ALL sessions and activities.
Complete LeadershipAssessment for participant.
Meet monthly with the participant after each Boot Camp session to review learning.
Consult with participant on work-related projects that enable participant to apply leadership skills to current position.
Attend program kick-off on Friday, September 19, 2007 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. and a program closing on May 15, 2008 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Supervisor understands that if the participant voluntarily withdraws or is dismissed from the program for attendance or other reasons, no part of the program fee will be refunded.
